Welcome to Seabase, Home of the USS Solar

2392 has been a time of chaos and transition for the Alpha Quadrant. As the United Federation of Planets crumbles, opportunists, terrorists and monsters are revealed. Can Triton Seabase survive 2393?

You spread your towel out, take a seat, dust the sand off your hands, and stare out into the brilliant aquamarine blue seas. A salty breeze of ocean air blows against your face and you turn to it instinctively. The sound of gulls crying overhead compliments the sounds of waves crashing into the shore and you close your eyes to listen. Happy children run past you, some build castles in the sand, some gallop into the warm ocean waters, and still others drag body boards into the waves. Nearby, a civilian shouts safety instructions to a group playing too far out, a waiter stops by and asks you for your drink order, and still the waves roll in and the wind rustles the oceanside grasses.

Did you ever think that serving in Starfleet could be like this?

You have discovered Triton Seabase is a Lowell Class Underwater Research and Observation Station under the command of Captain Joshua Hart. The primary mission of the base is to explore the vast unknown oceans of the newly discovered planet, Amphitrite.

Explore the depths of a new, pelagic planet and make discoveries so unique, it could rock the foundation of scientists everywhere.

You can't describe the sea unless you've been there before. It's just a mystery, until you're standing on the shore and moved by every wave, taking your breath away.

Triton Seabase is a Star Trek role-playing SIM that is played using Nova, a role-playing system developed by Anodyne Productions. The story begins in the year 2392 - twelve years after the events from the last Star Trek canon movie, Star Trek: Nemesis, and it is a time of great upheaval. The Romulan Star Empire has suffered a catastrophic disaster with the nova of their sun, the Hobus star, spreading the Empire's resources thin. Starfleet stands on the brink of its own war with the Klingons, who have been biding their time, waiting to strike. The Gorn Hegemony faces a devastating climate change which could lead to an extinction level event. While chaos and enemies abound, Triton Seabase begins a new era in Starfleet history.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in being part of, then feel free to apply. Browse the manifest to see what open positions interest you. When transport completed its cycle, the sight greeting the landing party was both confusing and heart-breaking. The group stood in what should have been a large square or market. Instead, it was just an open space surrounded by ash marked rubble, the vaguest resemblance of the buildings they once were.…

It had been awhile since An'ta had been in an engineering section. But the compartment on the seabase was unlike any he'd seen before. Even without the warp core present on a starship, it just seemed different from the starbases he'd been on.

The fact that he was quite a…

Mission: Utopia

Thankfully, the Operations center of Utopia's Aquatic pod didn't have windows, so An'ta was able to put the sea sickness out of his mind. Focusing on his work (and the civilian staff watching over his shoulders) allowed him to ignore the swaying and bobbing.

He was trying to…

Mission: Utopia

Captain Joshua Hart resented being parked in the pod's lounge while they waited for their host to resume the tour. He stared out the window, which admittedly had a good view of the Naiad Island just a few hundred meters to the east of the pod's landing site.

He eyed…

Weather Josh liked it or not, Vikki had commendeered his office for the duration of her temporary command of the Seabase. While she had tried hard, with the twins at home and the influx of patients to the counselling department; the woman hadn't been able to get a minute…
